
Jess Bailey
Jess practices law in the following areas; profit and non-profit entity
formation, business and non-profit general counsel, contract drafting and
negotiation, environmental compliance, and real estate law. Before becoming an
attorney, she gained experience in real estate mortgage and property management, complex banking instruments, small business finance, environmental consulting and university
campus services. These industries gave Jess extensive practice in a diversity of
contracts and negotiations. She has a proven record of providing quality
customer service on a day-to-day basis. Jess has skills in explaining the law, technical
fields and complex issues to an array of audiences. She has a varied
educational background including, business, science and the law; allowing her
to assess challenges from different view points in order to successfully
calculate solutions. Jess believes a lawyer should be part of the team in
making a business successful, not just an outsider to call after a problem
arises.
Jess is a proud member of the American Bar Association, (ABA) Association of Women Attorneys (AWA), Houston Bar Association, Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Zoo, Society of Women Engineers (SWE), State Bar of Texas, Texas Association of Environmental Professionals (TAEP), South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, World Affairs Council of Houston, Young Professionals in Energy, and Young Professionals Group. She currently serves as the Designated Member Representative for the Houston Intercontinental Chamber of Commerce for the Alliance of North Houston Chamber of Commerce (ANHOC).
Jess obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Biology from University of Missouri in St. Louis. She graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, and also has a dual Masters of Science from Nova Southeastern University in Coastal Zone Management and Marine Environmental Science.
